Ab Twists
Ab Twists | Nichole Mellison
Work your abdominals and obliques, i.e., the front and sides of your abs, with ab twists. Try this exercise after you’re comfortable with regular ab crunches on your Exercise Star. Then you can twist slowly at the top of your “crunch” to target your obliques while your rectus abdominis muscles These muscles run up and down the front of your stomach (one on each side). Maintain continuous muscle tension. Support your head and neck with your hands for comfort.
Stay aware of your shifting center of gravity as the Exercise Star shifts slightly beneath you. Your muscles will adjust automatically and your body awareness and balance will improve as they do so. Increase repetitions and sets as you’re able.
