Knee Pushups
Knee Pushups | Nichole Mellison
Knee pushups is a term that feels like a misnomer. After all, how can your knees do pushups? Actually, balancing on your knees, and THEN performing your regular pushups allows for easier pushups because of the shorter length between the two points of contact on the floor between your knees and properly positioned hands. However, when your knees rest on the unstable surface of the Exercise Star, you again add a degree of difficulty to the exercise. The unstable surface makes your core work harder and requires automatic muscle adjustments. This all makes for a very efficient, versatile exercise.
Watch Nichole as she performs knee pushups on the Exercise Star and try to do them as well as she does.
